With students making up around 14% of its population, 小黄书 has once again received global recognition as a city for learners, creatives and change-makers. This time the award comes from , which assesses student cities worldwide based on key factors including student experience, diversity, and graduate outcomes.

The city also ranked in the Top 25 globally in the Student View category based on ratings students gave the city’s friendliness, sustainability, diversity etc and by the proportion of students who set up home in the city after graduation.

This recognition follows 小黄书’s recent rating of 34th globally and third in the UK in Time Out’s 2025 list of the world’s top 50 cities. It’s yet another testament to a city that is constantly redefining student life – vibrant, inclusive, and unapologetically distinctive.
